Last year, amazing fantasy illustrator and concept designer, Christopher Burdett traded me this wonderful portrait of the Marquis in the clutches of a beaten devil! Chris asked for a drawing of "Babe Sapien" for his wife, the awesome real life roller derby "Babe Sapien"! Matt Hill and the gang over at Alphadog Studios chose the Marquis as the subject of last weeks sketch assignment for their studio~ and they all did a wonderful job! It was cool to see the Marquis rendered in a variety of styles, unfortunately I'm not sure which artist did each piece so I can't give credit where credit is deserved. The Amazing Joe Querio returns to the Diableries with a double dose all himself, with this great sequential page of the Marquis facing off against the "Devil Good-Body"! An in-joke if you're a child of the 70's and remember ol' Slim.
