Rodrigo Avilés did this amazing digital painting of the Marquis contemplating his fates and peering out at the base of the statue to Saint de Massard. You can see more of his great paintings and art on his website below!

  1. That's a great one. Nice tiles.

Hey guy, I'm really enjoying your BPRD work, and the other bits and pieces that I can find out here (Australia).

What I'd LOVE to see you do is some more Solomon Kane stuff, or maybe some Conan! I loved those few Solomon Kane pages you recently did on Dark Horse presents, and also those short back stories in The Wild Hunt. Oh yeah, and that issue of Rex Mundi you did. Guy Davis doing middle ages kinda stuff, with monsters, is just the best, I can't get enough of it. The Victorian stuff is awesome too- Marquis is beautiful. I was sad that it couldn't have been you who drew Witchfinder, as your work would have been perfect for that..

Anyway, thanks for your great work, I always look forward to any new comic with your stuff in it.
