Motorcity Marquis!

This weekend is the Motorcity Comicon May 14-16 at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi, MI! I'll be setting up in artist alley for all three days, and will have some new artwork on display in my portfolio along with some BPRD tpbs, original artwork and Marquis T-Shirts for sale. I'll also have some free Marquis pins and promo cards at the table, so if you're at the show please stop by to say hello!

Fight! Fight!

Another peek to some pencils for the upcoming Marquis and the Midwife book~ I posted earlier that the cover for the French edition was a scene from the story. Above is the start to that scene as the Marquis comes to duel the children of the Midwife!

THE MARQUIS DIABLERIES 85

Rounding out this weeks Diableries is a cool painted portrait of the Marquis haunted by the mark of the devil with the fires of Hell burning in his chest by Mike Cross!

Another wonderful drawing given to me at the S.P.A.C.E Expo, this one of the Marquis in the clutches of some worm like devils from the talented Matt Horak! You can see more of his work, including some recent BPRD drawings on his blog!

Another wonderful bit of Marquis art that I got at the S.P.A.C.E Expo ( I'll post some others I got in the coming week)~ this time from the crazy talented Coey Kuhn who drew this stoic Marquis, his pistol and his bird minions!! You can see more of her amazing work on her link below along with a great sketchbook that I picked up at the show!

THE MARQUIS DIABLERIES 82

Home, sweet Hell! Sorry about the missed Diableries the passed couple weeks~ a couple of conventions threw me off, but the weekend Marquis fanart will be back on track. Starting with this great drawing by the amazing Kassandra Heller.

I got to be artist alley neighbors with Kassandra last weekend at the S.P.A.C.E expo and she was kind enough to draw me a really cool Marquis (that I'll post in the coming weeks), but during the show she also drew the above piece on her table cover (and I was able to convince her to tear it off for me after the show)~ showing the Marquis wishing he was home surrounded by me and my fiancee's menagerie of pets.

The Marquis in SPACE!

This weekend April 24-25 I'll be setting up in artist alley at the S.P.A.C.E (Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo) in Columbus, Ohio. Along with some Marquis pins and promos at the table, I'll also have sketchbooks and Marquis t-shirts for sale~ and always happy to do quick sketches for anyone stopping by to say hello! I'll also be sitting in on a couple of panels Sunday afternoon including one on Horror Comics. Hope to see you at the show!
